Abstract:The structure design of satellite laser retro-reflector is an important part of laser retro-reflector design.Taking the Galileo satellite laser retro-reflector as an example,the problems and solutions in high orbit navigation satellite laser reflector design were discussed,including the overall layout of the structure,corner reflector assembly structure,material design,damping,electrostatic protection and thermal control technology.For the space environmental load(assembly,constant acceleration,vibration,shock,thermal cycling,etc.),the influence of them on mechanical and optical properties of the laser retro-reflector were analyzed,calculated and discussed,and actual ranging results of Galileo satellite further show the rationality of Galileo reflector structure design.
