The wind field has a strong representation of the motion state and movement trend of the atmosphere,so the accurate measurement of the wind field is crucial to the numerical weather forecast and climate study.With high space-time resolution,lidar has been developing rapidly in recent decades and playing an increasingly important role in earth observation,especially in the exploration of atmospheric wind field.In the paper,detection principle,classification and technology of Doppler wind lidar are introduced,and the Doppler frequency shift algorithm of incoherent Doppler wind lidar is emphatically summarized.So the paper can provide reference for the research of space-borne lidar in China.
