One DBR Er3 +2doped fiber laser of high output power and high wavelength stability was developed. Its gain medium was 2. 75m long Er3 +2doped fiber of high erbium concentration. When it waspumped by 980nm laserdiode , the output spectral bandwidth was measured as 0. 2nm by 3dB and 0. 4nm by 25dB at 1552. 2nm. The max.output power was measured as 25mW. Its power stability was ±0. 01dB , side mode suppression ratio was 60dB ,and the stability of output wavelength was 0. 01dB(Confined by the precision of OPM) . The laser had a threshold of 8. 6mW and a slope efficiency of 21. 7 %.
