A flexible airborne real-time image tracking system using two high-powered DSP - TMS320C6414 as its key processors and using FPGA performing the control of logic circult of the whole system is designed. The system can filful the actual demand of high speed of signal processing in real-time image tracking. In this paper, problems such as selection of hardware resource,working rourtine are discussed in detail, and the method is emulated with the relative algorithm in order to get the real-time performance of system. The result shows that the system is feasible and effective.
