The mathematicsmodelwhich can calculate ship’s far field thermalwake in the thermal stratified ocean environment are established. Thismodel is made of parabolic Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RaNS) equations and energy equation in which the well known kεmodel is used. By the aid of the calculating method about initial data plane of ship far field wake in reference[ 7 ] , the characteristics of temperature profiles in ship thermal wake and the spread law of the thermalwake width are calculated using the finite analytic scheme. The calculation results are compared with the experimental results[ 4 ] , and they agree wellwith each other.
