The development process of infrared imaging seeker is reviewed briefly, and the emphasis is on the present status of infrared imaging seeker techniques abroad, such as optical system, detector, signal processing, simulation in lab and system test, etc. Finally, combining the domestic technical status, some novel views are given, and the further direction is also pointed out.
