Using the micro-cylindrical lens as the fast axis collimator for laser diode array is studied . The fast axis collimator beam parametersmeasurement of laser diode array (LDA) with an emitting area of 1μm ×150μm are meas-ured by using the method of second ordermoment. The waistwidths, divergences,waist positions, Rayleigh lengths and M2 factors of the LDA in x, y direction are determined. The fast axis divergence of LDA is reduced to 0. 42°. Op tical system for coup ling of LDA is designed,which yields coup ling efficiency of above 89% for 200μm fiber respectively.
