    摘要:

    文章对当前实时图像融合技术和实现方法进行了综述,提出了一种采用FPGA设计的双波段实时红外图像融合系统的设计方法。该系统将核心算法、外设管理等功能单元集成在1片Virtex - II Pro FPGA上实现,并提供了I2C等接口通道,使系统更加紧凑、灵活、可靠和低功耗。对拟采用的拉普拉斯金字塔融合算法的复杂性、实时性、资源占用率等指标进行了评估,并对系统的双通道视频数据流同步、帧缓冲与数据的实时传输等关键功能单元的实现方法进行了介绍。

    Abstract:

    The technologies and methods of real-time image fusion are introduced, and a novel design method of dual-waveband real-time IR image fusion system is proposed. In this system the FPGA chip ofVirtex-Ⅱ Pro is app lied to realize the main functions, including the kernel algorithm and the peripheral management, etc. Also it provides I2C as the host control interface. Compared with the traditional ones, this system is more compact, flexible and relible and has low power. The Lap lacian pyramid fusion algorithm being ported into this system is anatomized in the fields of comp lexity, real-time performance and resource occupancy factor in detail. Some methods to realize the key function units are also discussed, including the data synchronization of the two video channels, the frame buffer and the real-time transmission of data.
