Abstract:Repeated impact tests on samples of laser cladding is done and microcosmic analysis to the appearance and mechanism of repeated impact contact fatigue damnification ismode. It shows that under repeated impact loading, it is prevalent formicrocosmic point corrosion to be on samp le’s surface.Depth of contact fatigue point corrosion is about 0. 05~0. 1mm or even less, which ismore shallow than the hole of point corrosion of rolling or skidding contact fatigue. Generally, under repeated impact contact, peeling of point corrosion on laser cladding surface is happened under lower stress, and the period of the increment of the crack is longer. However, peeling on laser cladding surface is happened under higher stress, and the period of the increment of the crack is shorter.
