In the paper the pretreatment for detecting infrared point targets under complex background is discussed. After background suppressing and filtering, the intensity of target can be greatly imp roved, and comp lexity of operation can be greatly reduced. The app rop riate combination of algorithms can effectively promote the quality of filter and simplify the architecture of hardware. Finally, the results of experiment and the evaluation are given.
