高功率LD阵列端泵Nd∶YLF片状放大器热效应研究

    摘要:

    针对LD阵列端面泵浦片状放大器的工作特点,建立了对增益介质Nd:YLF进行热特性研究的有限元模型。计算出了千瓦级泵浦功率,520μs脉冲宽度,重复频率状态下晶体瞬时三维的温度和热应力分布。研究结果表明:有效泵浦功率密度达到10kW/cm2量级时,介质可能发生热致断裂;增大强迫对流换热系数会减少温升,但端面处温度梯度增大,热应力可能增大。

    Abstract:

    Through analysis for the performance features of laser diode array end pumped disk laser amplifier,a finite element thermal model of laser crystal Nd∶YLF is established.3D and transient distributions of temperature and thermal stress in repeated pulse laser crystal were calculated when pumped by kilowatt grade and 520μs duration.The result shows that fracture due to thermal stress may occur when effective pump energy is up to 10kW/cm2 and the increase of heat transfer coefficient can reduce the temperature but may increase the maxim thermal stress.
