Abstract:In this paper, natural jadeite, bleached and filled jadeite were tested by Confocal Micro Raman Spectroscopy (514nm), it was gained that Raman shifts 1036cm-1, 696cm-1and 374cm-1are proper for jadeite, it was also found the existence of cracks and organic polymer filled in those cracks observed by its micrograph. Via tested by infrared spectrometer, the organic polymer filled was confirmed as epoxy resin, thus the diagnostic Raman shifts of epoxy resin are 777cm-1, 1123cm-1, 1611cm-1, 2930cm-1and 3065cm-1. Green and white points of natural jadeite and jadeite dyed with green color were tested by Raman spectrometer (785nm), those samples tested in same testing condition and in short integral time, and combined UV-Vis-IR absorption spectrum of green point of jadeite, it was found that absorption peaks 637nm, 658nm and 691nm was belonged to Cr3+ which taking up crystal lattice of jadeite, and a mass of Cr3+ existed in jadeite would produce extremely strong fluorescence, however, the intensity of fluorescence produced by coloring matter in dyed jadeites was much weaker.
