By solving an inverse heat conduction problem, one method is developed about how to determinate inner wall heat flux and heat transfer coefficient of pipeline. Analytic equations are given making use of the surface temperature distribution obtained by scanning the outer wall of pipeline. The conclusion can be drawn that this method is theoretically reasonable and feasible.
