Detectivity (D*) is applied firsthand and it don′t consider the factors of temperature characteristic of detectivity and 1/f noise in traditional design theory of infrared systems. Detectivity is corrected in this paper. The relation of detectivity (D*) and spectral detectivity (D*(λ)) has been derived from considering physical characteristic of detectivity. The correcting factor of wave band detectivity is introduced while radiation source temperature is not equal to blackbody temperature testing D*. It is brought forward at the same time the method of correcting D* on the condition of large 1/f noise and measuring noise with narrow band. The comprehensive correcting method is put forward on above basis. These mathematics models are advanced as theoretical basis for the system design and performance evaluation.
