Crosstalk is an important factor degrading the performance of multi-element infrared detectors. In the application of multi-element infrared photoconductive detectors, electrical crosstalk is mainly caused by the grounding resistance among the elements.Base on analysis of working mechanism of photoconductive detectors, conclusions are made that the electrical crosstalk of multi-element photoconductive detectors is directly proportional to the grounding resistance and inversely proportional to the bias resistance.Meanwhile, the phase of the crosstalk signal is reversed to the origin signal. The equivalent circuit is designed for testing the electrical crosstalk, and the result of the test is consistent with the analysis.Based on the theoretical analysis and experiment,it is found that increasing the value of bias resistance is a feasible method to reduce electrical crosstalk when the grounding resistance is a certain value.
