Abstract:The three-dimensional photonic crystal can be used in transmission devices,communication and information transmission,photonic crystal filters,etc.Diamond structure,face-centered cubic structure and the wood pile structural composition of three-dimensional photonic crystal structure were designed.The rule of variation band gap has been obtained with filling ratio variation on three kinds of structures by using the plane-wave expansion method.The results show that the structure of diamond will produce larger band-gap ratio,face-centered cubic structure will be difficult to produce larger band gap rate.The wood pile structure will produce in the larger scope of a full band gap structure.This research provides a theoretic basics for the development of three-dimensional photonic crystal.
