This paper presents a laser aiming accuracy test method to meet the aiming accuracy requirement of laser targeting system.The calibration method of the system is simple.The target and camera system are installed in a fixed relative position,so the system can be used as a moving target to test the laser aiming accuracy of moving objects.The system can track high frame rate laser pulses.The analysis of the grayscale image which shows the energy distribution of laser pulse shows that the centroid of the laser spot is not exactly the center.The system uses the weighted gray barycentric method to calculate the center position of the beam spot,which provides a better accuracy than the simple barycentric method.System test experimental results with double-wedge method show that the accuracy of laser spot center position is better than 0.2 mm.The method is valuable in engineering application.
