Presented in this paper is the study of a mid-infrared tunable OPO laser with a pump source of 200 mJ,1.064 μm Nd∶YAG laser.The OPO uses type two matching KP-OPO in XZ plane.Signal-frequency of 1.5~2.0 μm and idler frequency of 2.3~3.6 μm are obtained.The wavelength is continuously tunable.The light to light conversion efficiency is better than 10%.
