This paper introduces the structure and principle of the transconductance peak holding circuit.Two different wideband operational transconductance amplifiers are used to design peak holding circuit for narrow laser pulse.Through the simulation analysis,one of the most suitable amplifiers is selected to make experiments,and then factors that affect the maintaining effectiveness are discussed in detail by experiments.The circuit has a simple structure,good linearity and high precision.
