Abstract:To solve the ship targets segmentation problem in visible-light images based on complex sea background,the multi-scale lacunarity features of images are introduced.The problem of lacunarity feature extraction method proposed by Dong is analyzed,and a modified method is proposed.By using the variance of the pixel values inside the sliding box,the quality of sliding box is computed,and the degree of separation between ship targets and sea background is increased.The ship targets are segmented by the image multi-scale lacunarity features extracted by the modified method.The experimental results show that the ship targets segmentation results obtained by modified extraction method are better than sobel edge detection method,ostu threshold segmentation method and the traditional multi-scale lacunarity features method.The impacts of bright spots,sea waves and noise on the sea can be better restrained,and ship targets can be segmented more accurately.
