The fabrication of the high-concentration ytterbium doped double clad photonic crystal fiber is reported,which is made by Hydrolysis-melting. The high-concentration ytterbium doped double clad photonic crystal fiber is fabricated successfully by improving the manufacture technique and principle according to the designed formula:98.3% Silica、0.2% Ytterbia、1.5% Alumina(molar ratio).The process can improve the homogeneity of the concentration effectively.
