Aiming at the measurement and evaluation problem of electro-optic system’s laser pointing error for space target，a feasible method of measuring and evaluating electro-optic system’s laser pointing error for space target is proposed，the calculation formula of laser pointing error is given，and the main error of affecting evaluation veracity is analyzed.The laser tracking and pointing ability of electro-optic system for space target can be evaluated by this measuring and evaluating method.
