As monopulse portable semiconductor laser range finder can not accurately test the targets at a middle or far distance,a high-current dual-pulse laser diode driving circuit is designed,the ranging is realized by binarization high-speed data acquisition method.The measurement range and the prototype laser rangefinder is made based on this circuit,ranging distance of the system can reach 1750m,and measurement accuracy is up to 95% without cooperative targets.Experiment results show that the circuit has the characteristics of low power consumption,large measuring range and high accuracy,it has practical value.
