At present,the target recognition of midcourse ballistic missile is more and more difficult as a result of the continuous development of relevant technology. In recent years,the polarization characteristics have been widely applied in the field of target recognition. Firstly,the dynamic full polarization scattering data of five kinds of midcourse targets is obtained through modeling and simulation. Then the angle polarization correlation of the targets is analyzed with the narrowband and broadband radar system. The simulation results show that angle polarization correlation can be used in the preliminary target recognition. On this basis,the impact of the precession parameters on target polarization correlation is studied. And the conclusions have certain reference value for fine identification of the target.
