The scattering characteristics of near-spherical troposphere aerosol particle in terahertz wave band are analyzed based on Mie scattering theory. By simulation and comparison,the scattering abilities of four kinds of troposphere particles in terahertz wave band are obtained. Results show that the influence of scale parameter of particle on scattering intensity is obvious. As the scale parameter of particle increases,the oscillation of scattering phase function becomes stronger and the scattering intensity gradually becomes bigger. Scattering light gradually focuses on the smaller angle ahead. The curves become sharper and appear more divided leaves. The simulation shows that the wavelengths affect scattering parameters. The research of terahertz scattering simulation can provide references for the application of terahertz technology in the meteorological and related fields.
