Abstract:While spatial and temporal resolution of current aerial surveillance equipment is becoming higher, dynamic compensation technology for scanning image motion with high precision is the key to realize integrated reconnaissance and attack. Compared with opto-mechatronic image motion compensation technology, image motion compensation based on the charge transfer time delay and integration (TDI) characteristic of full frame transfer CCD has great advantages. However, the precision of TDI image motion compensation method for current array detector is limited to pixel level. Firstly, working principle of integrated reconnaissance and attack aerial camera is introduced. Secondly, according to the characteristics of frame transfer CCD,a mathematical model of TDI CCD interline charge transfer and modulation transfer function model of charge transfer image motion are established. An on-chip compensation method for scanning image motion of integrated reconnaissance and attack aerial camera is put forward based on this. This method is used to improve image motion compensation precision of phase array TDI CCD to 1/2 pixel. Finally,a series of experiments is performed, and the results confirm the image degradation caused by charge transfer image motion, which prove the proposed method can significantly improve image quality.Key words:integrated reconnaissance and attack aerial camera; scanning image motion; modulation transfer function; frame transfer CCD; charge transfer image motion
