When the targets are moving at different angles,the ranging error of the peak to peak time difference method is large,and the measured values at some angles seriously deviate from the true values.Aiming at the problems,a target location method is presented with two static pyroelectric infrared sensors (PIR).First,the two PIR are placed at the same line and at the same height,and they aim at each other at the distance of 30 m.When the target goes across the detection field of view vertically or obliquely,the distances are measured by two PIR,and the results are corrected.The results show that the precision of the peak to peak time difference method has been improved obviously.
