Video surveillance system structure of the border and coastal defense and the functions of its parts were analyzed in detail.The topological structures and characteristics of several typical central node wireless LAN networking modes were studied,and the proper wireless networking modes of video surveillance systems were respectively put forward according to the border and coastal defense demands in different field environments.
