High-power fiber lasers as the most advanced solid state lasers in the world own incomparable unique advantages and have been widely used in the field of tactical laser weapons.In this article,the features,recent progress,beam combining technologies and optical phased array of high-power fiber lasers were reviewed and analyzed,as well as their applications for tactical laser weapons.
