As the traditional pulsed semiconductor laser range finder has the characteristic of low echo SNR for the remote ranging,a miniaturized semiconductor laser ranging scheme based on m-sequence is presented.Taking m sequence with single-cycle as the laser emission waveform,coherent integration and matched filter are used to process faint echo signals with low SNR.Simulation and calculation are done.The results prove that the scheme can improve the echo SNR,and effectively recognize the target signal from faint echo signal,and further improve the capability of laser rangefinder.
