As parameter decomposition and parameter coupling need to be solved for the common camera calibration methods,the center line equation of the plane perspective projection was derived based on Poncelet theorem,and the relation between the center line and the principal point position in camera was analyzed,so a calibration method based on the plane perspective projection center line was proposed.This method can avoid the decomposition of homography matrix and remove coupling effect among the principal point,focal length and lens distortion to improve calibration efficiency.The experimental results show that this method is simple and its precision is higher,superior to the current typical calibration methods.
