The ultrasound infrared thermography as a new nondestructive testing method has attracted the attention of domestic and overseas researchers,so the influence research of ultrasonic excitation parameters has important significance for the engineering application and theoretical research of this method. The heat-generation process of crack excited by ultrasound was simulated and analyzed through the thermos-solid coupling method based on ANSYS. The heat-generation rule of crack defect was studied under different excitation parameters (excitation amplitude,excitation frequency,excitation position). And the cracks were detected by ultrasound infrared thermography. The results verify the feasibility of the finite element analysis.
