The preparation of ErFeO3 material and its visible light and laser stealth performance were studied. By using high temperature solid phase method,the material samples under different calcination temperatures are prepared. Through the analysis of XRD picture and diffuse reflection spectra,the main laser absorption component is ErFeO3. Absorption rate of material sample with the calcination temperature of 1300 ℃ and the thickness of about 0.2 mm reaches 37.5% at 1.55 μm wavelength. The spatial distribution of the reflected beam is similar to Lambert cosine distribution. When the incident power is below 80 μW,laser absorption of material sample is good. But when the incident power is above 80 μW,the laser absorption is saturated. Because material samples present the earthy red,the ErFeO3 material has the effect of visible light stealth and laser stealth.
