As a new radiation source,gas plasma has attracted considerable attentions due to its wide coverage in spectrum. The phenomenon of photoacoustic signal from air plasma induced by intense femtosecond laser pulse was studied. The influences of laser pulse energy,polarization direction and radial distance on photoacoustic signal intensity were studied and analyzed by the experiments.
