Because the small-sized four-bar targets used in high-performance infrared imaging system MRTD testing are difficult to process and even impossible to process under the existing machining processing level,an off-axis three-mirror imaging optical system was designed by using ZEMAX software. The imaging optical system is made up of three aspheric mirrors and the magnification is 0.4. The simulation results show that the imaging quality of the designed optical system is good and closes to the diffraction limit,and this optical system can meet the MRTD testing requirements of the high-resolution infrared imaging system.
