Infrared aerial camera is an important technology for acquiring target feature information of land and sea.The technical indexes of foreign typical infrared aerial cameras were introduced in details.The present development status of infrared aerial camera was briefly summarized,and its characteristics and advantages were described.Basic working principle,key technologies and main evaluating index of infrared aerial camera were analyzed.In the end,the future developments were prospected.
