Abstract:Combat effect of non lethal laser blinding weapons is poor in inclement weather, especially in rain and fog,and it can not achieve the desired operation effect. Therefore,a laser automatic regulating system must be developed, and the key part of the effort is to study the transmission mechanism of the laser in the rain and fog.Based on the Mie scattering theory, laser attenuations is studied under three conditions in the rain, fog, rain and fog,and the relationship between laser transmittance and the rainfall, the fog concentration and the transmission distance. The Matlab simulation results show that the laser transmittance decreases with the increase of rainfall, the fog concentration and the transmission distance, and the attenuation is serious.
