The interference effect of 10.6 μm laser irradiation on a certain infrared imaging system is study in this paper. The ABCD matrix transformation method is used to calculate the power density of the laser before and after each objective lens and the surface of infrared detector. By studying the mechanism of 10.6 μm laser on infrared imaging system,the temperature rise effect of infrared under laser irradiation is deeply analyzed,and the general rule of image interference effect of laser on infrared imaging system is revealed. The testing platform of the 10.6 μm laser-activated infrared imaging system was established and used to verified the temperature rise effect of laser irradiation on optical materials,response characteristics of infrared images,interference and saturation effect of infrared images under different intensity laser irradiation.
