Abstract:Airborne surface-type infrared decoy is one of the most common equipment in countering infrared imaging guided weapons,which generates false target to interfere and inveigle missile attack in enhancing fighter combat survivability.Firstly,the mechanisms of infrared imaging guided weapon and airborne surface-type infrared decoy were analyzed.The ground-to-air test system was built,and the relevant data of surface-type infrared decoy by the system was got.Secondly,according to the data,the infrared radiant intensity,radiation area and time-domain characteristic of decoy were analyzed,which contributes to counter infrared imaging guided weapons.Finally,the strategies of launching surface-type infrared decoy and airplane maneuvers were given from three sections of infrared imaging guided weapon attack,which integrates airplane infrared radiation and characteristic of surface-type infrared decoy such as infrared radiant intensity,spatial distribution,launching angle and launching time.The strategies can contribute to perform decoy′s combat effectiveness and jamming effect completely.
