A high-repetition-frequency and high power nanosecond pulse laser output from a conduction-cooled end-pumped Nd∶YAG slab laser amplifier is reported.The laser system adopts MOPA structure,mainly including a Q-switch nanosecond seed laser,small size slab pre-amplifier and main amplifier unit.Under the condition of 400 Hz high repetition frequency and 1.6 W output power and 4 mJ single pulse energy of the seed laser,the output power of the laser amplifier system is up to 207 W,the single pulse exceeds 0.5 J.The output laser beam has a 6.55 ns pulse width,and the laser peak power exceeds 75 MW.
