Superalloys are mostly used as materials for hot end parts such as turbines. In order to reduce the working temperature of the parts,it is usually necessary to prepare a large number of cooling micropores in the body. Laser processing technology has wide applicability,especially for processing high hardness,high melting point materials,and has unique advantages for micro hole processing of superalloys. This article introduces the practical application of cooling micropores,and details the research progress of laser preparation of thermally coated superalloys. The advantages and disadvantages of the laser hole making thermal barrier coating process are analyzed and discussed,including femtosecond laser preparation of thermal barrier coating superalloy,picosecond nanosecond and millisecond laser preparation of thermally coated superalloy,etc. Finally,the problems and development trends of laser processing thermal barrier coating micro hole technology are summarized.
