Abstract:Aiming at the problem of precise positioning of material structure damage location identification,a distributed fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensing network is constructed,using the sensing characteristics of fiber grating sensors,based on the perceived impact response signal strength (RSSI) and the distance from the impact point to the sensor.In this paper,a method for locating impact load based on RSSI weighted centroid for fiber grating sensor network is proposed.Design a reasonable sensor network monitoring layout,identify the area where the impact point is located by analyzing the intensity of the impact response signal sensed by different position sensors,and use the weighted centroid location algorithm to identify and locate the impact load location.Test showed that build respectively based on the carbon fiber composite materials plate,steel plate,board structure damage identification model of positioning monitoring experiment system,in 300mm×300mm of monitoring area randomly selected 24 impact point is used to identify the location,can accurately identify all the impact point area,and according to the RSSI determines the location of the impact point coordinates. The average error of the coordinate positioning is within 15mm,which can realize the identification of the impact point position,and provides a practical and feasible method for accurately identifying the damage location of the material structure.
