Abstract:Based on the portability requirements of miniature near infrared spectrometers in the fields of industry, agriculture, medical testing and aerospace, the embedded system of miniature near infrared spectrometers is designed and studied in this paper. The spectral signal acquisition system is an important part of the embedded system of the miniature near infrared spectrometer, including data acquisition, storage and real time transmission. FPGA is used as the main control chip, and the SDRAM is the data storage chip, combining with the FIFO in the FPGA chip to read and write data. Compared with the traditional spectral signal acquisition scheme,it increases the data storage capacity, reduces the system hardware volume, and facilitates the miniaturization of the near infrared spectrometer. At the same time,SDRAM is relatively inexpensive compared to the traditional spectral signal acquisition scheme, which will reduce the hardware cost of the entire system. The control logic of the system is verified by writing the corresponding functional test files. The results show that the timing control logic of the spectral signal acquisition system is feasible, and can correctly control the spectral signal acquisition, achieve large capacity storage, and real time transmission.
