Accompanied by the rapid growth of the terahertz radar,many global scholars pay more attention to the research on terahertz target characteristics,which has become an important research area in recent years.In this paper,the latest research progress of on the characteristics of terahertz targets at home and abroad is reviewed and analyzed,including the terahertz characteristic of the simple scatters with the smooth and rough surface,the ISAR imaging of the scaled models with complex shape,and the terahertz of the scaled models.The work of this paper may offer some reference and gist for research on terahertz radar design,target recognition and terahertz stealth target design.
