Abstract:In the field of aviation safety,accurate understanding of three dimensional wind field information,such as low level wind shear,turbulence,aircraft wake,can provide important support for safe take off and landing phases.Among them,lidar is a highly potential sensor for the delicate acquisition of wind field information.In this paper,a volume scanning strategy and wind field multi characteristics retrieval method based on lidar is proposed,using a cone scanning scheme with multiple specified elevation angles,making it possible to retrieve the complex wind field like windshear alert and turbulence intensity with only one volume scan.Through the simulations and preliminary field measurement,it is well verified that the proposed method has good performance for in detection and retrieval of windshear and turbulence around the airport.
