In the development of a laser weapon,it is necessary to carry out central calibration of the laser spot to ensure the emission energy is stably concentrated at the target.The existing light spot center detection algorithm cannot meet the energy center calibration of far field irregular spots.For this purpose,a laser spot center detection algorithm based on adaptive disk mask is proposed.First of all,image enhancement is achieved through bilateral filtering,gamma stretching and other operations,and then OTSU method is used for image threshold segmentation.Determined by the area of the binary mask radius,the mask is matched with the original image of the spot to detect the spot center and determine the energy center.This method has excellent robustness and accuracy in the center detection of near field spot and far field irregular spot,and can achieve ±1 pixel error within 0.8μm for near field spot,and ±2 pixel error within 1.6μm for far field spot.It is demonstrated that the proposed method can be used in the practical engineering design of laser products and improves the performance of similar products.
