Abstract:In the field of modern defense and aerospace, the target surface is coated with materials with thermal protection, electromagnetic shielding, infrared radiation reduction and other properties, which can effectively protect the target. However,it is on the surface of the target, which is affected by the surrounding environment for a long time, and is prone to bubbles, scratches, shedding and other types of damage, resulting in a significant reduction in coating performance, unable to effectively protect the target. Therefore, the target coating needs to be inspected and maintained on a regular basis.By studying the relationship between coating damage and temperature and emissivity, combining the law of thermal radiation, colorimetric temperature measurement technology, and emissivity measurement method,a set of thermal imaging camera detection device is built, and a coating damage detection method based on coating temperature and emissivity field is proposed. The developed detection device is applied to the alumina coating based on aluminum, and the internal and external damage of the coating is accurately recognize by analyzing temperature and emissivity of alumina, and the theoretical model of the coating damage detection method based on temperature and emissivity field is verified,as well as the feasibility and applicability of the detection device.
