    摘要:

    高功率光纤激光器广泛应用于工业和科研领域,但往往由于非线性效应、模式不稳定等影响因素,导致其功率难以进一步提高。研究表明受激拉曼散射(SRS)会在光纤内引起激光的模式变化,这种模式畸变主要分成两种:其一是SRS通过量子亏损效应产热诱发动态温度梯度,形成热致折射率光栅,从而激发热致模式不稳定性(TMI);另外SRS会引起一种准静态的模式畸变,其机理涉及纤芯泵浦效应与模间混频(IMWM)的共同作用。当前研究仍存在理论模型与实验结果不完全匹配、两种模式不稳定过渡阶段机制不明确等问题。针对以上问题,本文系统分析了SRS与TMI相互作用的物理机制及最新进展,为高功率光纤激光器的性能优化提供了理论参考与研究思路。

    Abstract:

    High power fiber lasers are widely applied in industry and scientific research widely.However,it is often difficult to further increase their power due to the nonlinear effect,mode instability and other influencing factors.Studies have shown that stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) can induce mode changes of the laser in the fiber,and such mode aberration is mainly divided into two types:one is that SRS,through heat generation caused by quantum loss effects,induces dynamic temperature gradients,leading to the formation of thermally induced refractive index gratings,which in turn excites thermally induced mode instability (TMI).In addition,SRS can cause a quasi static mode aberration,and the mechanism involves the combined effect of fiber core pumping effect and inter model wave mixing (IM WM).Current research still faces issues such as incomplete matching between theoretical models and experimental results,and unclear mechanism of the transition phase between two types of mode instability.In view of the above problems,the physical mechanism of SRS TMI interaction and the latest progress are systematically analyzed,which provides theoretical references and research ideas for the optimization of the performance of high power fiber lasers.
